Complete history of Altoona, Pennsylvania Baseball. Old Cricket Field Days 1920's with visit by Babe Ruth, Old City League 1930's, Greater City League 1950-1960, Altoona Little Leagues, PRR Pony Leagues, George B. Kelley Junior Federation, NABF Tournaments 1953 to 1960 including play by play box scores of 1957 NABF Tournament when Altoona was victorious over teams like, Youngstown, Philadelphia, Louisville, Springfield, and Chicago. Also, review of local players that made it to the Major Leagues, Pat Malone, Bob Ramazzotti, Bill Tremel, Tommy Irwin, Al Gionfriddo (1947 World Series Catch-Joe DiMaggio). The Author grew up in the middle of most of these events from 1950 to 1960 and knew many of the players and coaches who fill these pages in that era.
