A study examining the professional roles and ethical considerations of judges and lawyers in drug courts. Provides a commentary on selected provisions of three ABA ethical codes: the Model Code of Judicial Conduct, the Model Rules of Professional Conduct, and the ABA Standards for Criminal Justice. The study concludes that judges and lawyers in drug court can exercise their proper roles in drug court and still maintain their ethical obligations.
