"Published to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Beatles first visit to the United States, documenting the beginning of the "British invasion".--From publisherʹ description. On February 7, 1964, the Beatles boarded Pam Am flight 101 to New York for their first trip to the United States. Eppridge was at JFK to photograph their arrival, and he documented the six days that followed. Seventy-three million people viewed their live performance on the Ed Sullivan Show on February 9th. By February 13, when they flew to Miami, the world was forever changed by Beatlemania.
