This book describes changes in self-reported and measured health, attitudes to and knowledge about health, cognitive functioning and lifestyle habits - diet, smoking, alcohol consumption, exercise and leisure activities - between the first survey in 1984/5 and the second in 1991/2 in relation to age, socio-economic status, maritial status, region of residenceand household structure.
