A Wandering Train to Now
Work detail
This book has two parts to it: the first part is a selection of nomadic poems that examine the current state of travel and the psychological affect of place on the people of this world; the second part of the book is a collection of revolutionary poems that look deeply into the social, political and spiritual landscapes of America. The overall feel of the language is jazzy and counter-cultural. The author, a young American poet, expresses a vital understanding of the enslaving undercurrents of the social, political and religous conditionings that many Americans live under.
