Wheatley & Clarke's Arch Street Theatre, acting and stage manager W.S. Fredericks. Eleventh and twelfth nighs of the grand spectacular comic dream of "Peter Wilkins, or, The Flying Islanders!" The representations of which are nightly attended by admiring crowds! It will be repeated on Wednesday & Thursday eve'ngs, Jan. 4th & 5th, '60 with entireley new and gorgeous scenery! Dresses decorations and machinery. The whole combination constituting the most brilliant spectacle ever produced in Philadelphia! The new and beautiful scenery by Mr. John Wiser, the costumes by Mr. Frank Johnson, the properties and decorations by Mr. Barrett, the peculiar mechanical effects by Mr. Wm. Murphy, the piece gotten up under the direction of Mr. Wood. Popular musical gems by the Orchestra, leader, Mr. Chas. R. Dodworth. The performances will conclude with, first time in two season, the laughable comedy of "A Roland for an Oliver!" "Peter Wilkins" every evening. Treasurer J.M.B. Whitton.
