This is one of the most interesting and penetrative books in this genre of writing on Sierra Leone. Those wre the days when there were a handful of writers in Sierra Leone, including the author herself. The educational system was going through a period of hard transformation in the post colony. From that period to now, a lot has happened in Sierra Leone and impacted on educatiomn in Sierra Leone from primary to the tertiary sector. This huge ally of ages past should be put out there for the edification of posterity. We must be grateful to authors like Talabi Lucan for her immense contributions to education and literary world of Sierra Leone. She is also shepardarding the Sierra Leone PEN successfully.
