Featured are: the collection, the museums, the principal collectors (including Nelson A. Rockefeller) and the master artisans. Beautiful book illustrated with full-page color plates of examples of the colorful kaleidoscope of art pieces that reflect the cultural "mestizaje" of the Spanish, Arabian, African, Asian and Pre-Columbian heritage in Mexico. Mediums include: textiles, glass, majolica, pottery, furniture, paper, thin figures, religious imaginary, and other works the MAP has collected since 1934.
