Mickey, Taggy, Puppo, Cica and Biggles are fascinated with an exhibition at Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum which showcases the achievements of Alexander the Great. They areinspired to have a delicious dinner at a Greek restaurant.Back home again, they excitedly watch the Olympic Games on television. Meanwhile, an e-mail message has arrived from a friend in Athens who used to live in Toronto. Jackie is now organizing the Olympic Games for animals and she wants M. T. P. C. & B. to participate. She asks them to contact their animal friends from around the world to take part in the games as well. As Cica is a great swimmer who never leaves home without her bikini, sheimmediately begins working on the project and the friends make their travel arrangements. Jackie is waiting for them in Athens, and they set off on a bus tour of the city. Next, they visit Delphi, where the Oracle suggests to Cica that she’ll find an ancient statue in the sea.The training for the Olympic Games begins. Taggy trains for the marathon, Cica swims around Hydra Island, but she does not find a statue. She becomes impatient and persuadesMickey (who is coaching her) to travel to Crete, because in ancient times, many treasureladen ships sank in that area. Cica is right. Just as she is finishing her training, she feels she is being watched. Her paw comes in contact with something which turns out to be the head of an ancient sculpture just below the surface of the water. Archeologists confirm that it is an ancient sculpture and Cica is feted, her photo appears on the front pages of magazines and newspapers. The Games begin with a procession of the animal atheletes from Germany, France, Switzerland, Mexico, China and all the other countries of the world.
