Learning to Make Toast
Work detail
Joan Miller never believed she deserved a happy ending. She had made too many poor choices over the years. Then she met John and finally got the life she always wanted. She had the loving husband, the cute suburban house, even the dog. Life was getting better. Until the night she was hit by a drunk driver. Now everyone insists she is someone different but she refuses to believe it. Joan knows she is still the person she has always been despite the bandages and wobbly walk. If she can convince them to let her out of the hospital, she can get back to her life with John. All she has to do ... Joan has to prove she can make toast.
