In the Foreword written by Dean Pangalangan of the U.P. College of Law, it is described as filling in a "critigal gap in Philippine legal literature" as it "addresses directly the pressing needs of the lawyer who, in his daily professional work, drafts and reviews contracts." The President of the Philippine Judges Association, the Hon. Danilo B. Pine opined that it should prove helpful "to both the bench and the bar as a bible for contracts." The Hon. Teofilo S. Pilando, President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines wrote that "it should serve a a handy guide to writing agreements that will withstand the test of time and, if called for, of litigation."
