"The exhibition shows a well-considered selection of work by the Dutch artist Annesas Appel and the Chinese artist Lu Xinjian. Their work, at first glance, appears to be abstract but the visual language turns out to come incredibly close to the core of consciousness. They share the fact that they attempt to shape the world in visual systems. The exhibition also shows a number of works by the Nul artists Henk Peeters and herman de vries."--
