She sneaked cigarettes in the bathroom of her Chelsea apartment to escape the wrath of her roommate, subsisted on peanut butter sandwiches, and dressed just as she had in college. In fact, when Sam Dreyfuss first laid eyes on Casey, he mistook her for a bag lady and gave her his spare change. But the second time they met, Sam demanded a date.
