This is a video game analysis book, for the games of the Nintendo Game Boy. It covers the all the games released in Japana, and the U.S. in the year 1989. Each game article has a screenshot, and images of the game's box. This book is a companion to the author's YouTube video series originally called "Game Boy World", then later retitled "Game Boy Works". The book has color screenshots, and color photography by the author {except for the black & white version of the book. The book was released in 5 different versions. A hardback version released in 2015, through "Blurb Inc.", then a paperback version through CreateSpace Independent Publishing ISBN: 9781511763684 {2015}. Next a larger size "XL Edition" was released in {2016}, its contents were "identical to the smaller" vesion. This XL version came in two versions a "Color Edition" ISBN: 9781532801129, and a "Black & White Edition" ISBN: 9781532809057. Lastly it was re-released with the title "Game Boy Works: Volume I", ISBN: 9781945908712 released through the Fangamer website in 2018, which also contains "Game Boy World 1990, Vol. 1" content up until the end of June 1990.
