In this dictionary devoted to the work and life of André Malraux (1901-1976), readers will discover very different--and at times perhaps contradictory--perspectives, but they will also discover convergences or unexpected intersections. Apart from some agreed-upon parameters, contributors to the dictionary remained completely free and responsible for their own arguments. It is left to readers to create dialogues between these different approaches, if they wish, and to construct an image of Malraux for themselves.
