Commemorative edition celebrating the centennial of the discovery of Machu Picchu. The edition includes 100 years of photography in black and white of the archaeological site of Machu Picchu, since the first images taken by Hiram Bingham or the cleaning process of the historic site. Includes an image of the writer José María Arguedas contemplating the Pre-Hispanic site portrayed by the great Eulogio Nishiyama, as well as international referents of this art, such as the Swiss photographer Werner Bischof, Edward Ranney, Linda Connor, John Cohen, among others. Four generations of Peruvian photographers include Martín Chambi and the photographers from the School of Cusco, as well as contemporary authors like Fernando La Rosa, Billy Hare and Teo Allaín Chambi.
