Native American ceramic pots and woven baskets in the Heard Museum's collection are spotlighted in this book of high-quality color photos and background information on pottery and basketry themes, designs, history, trade, and aesthetics. Contemporary Native American artists were invited to select pieces for the book, and their comments offer interpretations and insights on each piece. Pieces are from the 19th and 20th centuries.
