Teylers album
Work detail
Teylers Museum is one ot the great monuments of the Enlightenment era. It was a place where scholars and artists met to study phenoma together and to share their results with each other and the world. The monumental complex acquired its present form in a series of organic expansions, each one necessitated by growing collections and by activities such as lectures and demonstrations. This book brings to life the stories surrounding the building and the objects, so that they live on in visitor's imagination. We hope that this little book will conjure up the wonderful world of Teylers Museum long after your visit.
