The "Al-Quds/Jerusalem 2015" is a collaborative, long-term program devoted to the architectural heritage of Al-Quds/Jerusalem. The program brings together architects, planners, conservators, and social scientists from around the world who are concerned with the vitality of the walled city and its residents. The program will contribute to the protection and preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of Al-Quds/Jerusalem, aid its positive urban development, and demonstrate the potential for cooperation among concerned professionals under challenging circumstances. This publication is the project report of the first workshop that took place in Al-Quds / Jerusalem. It includes a Foreword by the Director General of IRCICA, Dr. Halit Eren.
