Life in the Sunset
Work detail
"Life in the Sunset is a memoir told through my eye as a child growing up in the Sunset District of San Francisco in the 1950's. It's a story about trying to fit in. How to be a part of the 'in' group. Or outside looking in. To witness the truth in murder and a dream that will never fail. To feel humiliation and pain while rejoicing in a full moon that never changes. Face the Consequences of a bra that can't be unfastened and Insect Lady. Survive the epic struggle of Snow White vs. God and a 'Sun Flower Yellow' kitchen. Most important of all, this is a story about the place I call home. The family and friends that became my Life In The Sunset." --
