Frederickson and erroneously believed that this constituted the entire edition. The pamphlet, addressed to the ‘admirers of Mr. John Payne Collier, in the United States,’ consists of William Hepworth Dixon’s review of Hamilton’s Inquiry and Collier’s first reply to it, both reprinted from the Athenaeum of 18 February 1860.
