Work detail
This exhibition was held within the framework of the Festival FotoMéxico 2017 which took the figure of Alfred Briquet as its main axis, in order to unravel the links between the first generation of photography in Mexico and the Barbizon School in France. His work dialogues with the work done by those French photographers who played a key role in the development of the birth of Mexican photography and influenced the future of the artistic field. Some of the works exhibited here will be shown for the first time. Curated by Gregory Leroy, the exhibition features more than 60 works.
