The transfiguration of Miss Philura
Work detail
Miss Philura is a plain woman who attends a lecture on 'metaphysical philosophy' where she is told that she can have anything she wants if she asks the "all-encircling Good" for it. She promptly asks 'Good' to make her pretty, give her beautiful clothes and provide a husband for her. In the end her requests are granted.
