In this book, the authors present works of diverse character in order to generate original knowledge about the Mesoamerican past. The title of this book: "stones" and "papers" intends to refer the material and documented vestiges on which the research gathered here has been built. Intermingled sources of various types to publicize studies such as "Painting mural and painting codices in Tepetlaoztoc in the mid-sixteenth century. Versatility of artists and communication of forms and themes ", shows from the perspective of art history, the interrelation that exists between pictographic manuscripts and mural painting despite being two well differentiated supports as well as archaeology and ethnohistory.
