The book deals with modern aspects of traffic theory and its applications to real world problems. In 17 separate articles various new developments are reported. The topics range from microscopic computer simulation of traffic flow simulations to air pollution in urban street networks. The articles, with many illustrations are dedicated to interested students as well as experts in the field. The current status of the work in this research area is presented by well-known experts.
