She was a woman who feared nothing. Her mind told her to forget any ideas she harboured of covertly following her beloved Filippo on his dangerous mission... but her heart told her otherwise. And so Marietta concocted an ingenious and outrageous scheme. She would disguise herself as a boy and join a band of itinerant actors whose destination was the same as Filippo's.
