The research and the resulting book are part of the research projects of the Institute of Research of the Professional School of Tourism and Hoteleria of the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos and is the outcome of more than two years of research of the author in archives and in the field for the project of restoration and value of the architectural and artistic heritage of the 16th century churches ?many of doctrinal origin? in the Andean region of the provinces of Oyón and Huaura.
