New novel. Marcio Veloz Maggiolo (1936) fiction writer, essayist and anthropologist considered one of the most widely published Dominican authors. He was awarded the National Prize for Literature in 1996. With his novel La Mosca Soldado (2004) he was awarded the Premio de Narrativa José María Arguedas (2006) by La Casa de las Américas, Cuba.
