Scrapbook shop owner Carmela Bertrand is excited for Mardi Gras in New Orleans to officially commence with the marching of the Pluvius parade. Not even spotting her ex-husband and his krewe heading up the parade on their gigantic King Neptune float can burst her bubble. The revelry turns to disaster when the float suddenly crashes and explodes. After the smoke clears and the CEO of a local hedge fund is found dead, the wreck seems less like an accident and more like a murder--with Carmela's ex as a key suspect.
