Hannsjörg Voth (geb. 1940) ist vor allem mit seinen grossen, architektonischen Skulpturen in der marokkanischen Wüste bekannt geworden. Der in München lebende Künstler schenkt dem Neuen Museum das gesamte malerische Frühwerk der Jahre 1969 bis 1973. Kühl, verführerisch makellos und glatt in Acryl gemalt, erscheinen seine eingeschnürten Extremitäten bis heute als Sinnbilder für Repression.
