Work detail
Book published as tribute to the brilliant career of architect Lorenza Capdevielle Van-Dyck, outstanding professor of the Faculty of Architecture of the UNAM with more than 40 years of experience in classrooms and recognized in 2017 with the Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz award, the highest academic prize of the UNAM. Motivated by her father, architect Rene Capdevielle Licastro, she began painting and, later, became a professor. Throughout the book her prolific career is detailed and illustrated with a selection of her watercolors as a graphic accompaniment, most made in front of her students: a constant practice of her work and through the process of teaching "Plein Air" drawing and watercolor techniques.
