"Death in the Freezer" is a young adult novel by Tim Vicary. When Ellen Shore's brother, Al, was born, he always came first. Ellen's parents weren't ever interested in her and only really cared about Al. When she is an adult, she continues to resent him and is jealous of him. This is because she is a poor single mother, and Al has become a rich rock star who doesn't give her anything. After finding him in a freezer, Ellen finds herself looking for answers.
