The participants of the meeting deliberated on five key themes: mapping of women's access to judicial and legal services in Africa; specific country experiences on legal literacy and legal assistance in Africa; access to justice for women victims of violence; rural women's access to legal and judicial services; regional and international human rights complaint procedures relevant to women.
