As the three fifteen-year-olds, Meri, Sudi, and Dalila, adjust to their new roles as descendants of Egyptian pharoahs charged with protecting the world from evil forces, they must face Apep, a giant serpent from the Netherworld brought to Washington, D.C., by the Cult of Anubis.
