He later lived in Isle of Wight County, King William County, Caroline County, and Spotsylvania County. His descendants lived in Virginia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, and elsewhere. The work also refers to three additional compilations of Holladay family material compiled by Dr. Holladay and now housed at the Tennessee State Library and Archives, Nashville.
