When an auto accident in a Boston suburb leaves 33 year old model Christine McMurray's face, hands and torso disfigured and one leg with multiple fractures, she must rethink her identity. Christine struggles with a controlling father who pushed her into beauty pageants from early childhood, a soon to be former fiance and her reluctance to believe a photographer with whom she once had a fling still finds her attractive.
