As the War Chief of his Comanche tribe, Black Eagle would use whatever means necessary to protect his people. So when white men began killing off the buffalo, he was forces to take action. On a quest to save his people from death and starvation, he experienced a vision from the Great Spirit, which showed a beautiful doe-eyed woman shedding a tear, followed by a warning: "Guard her well." Black Eagle stood in the cool water of Barton Springs--the same water that had pulled Kris Baldwin back in time. Illuminated by a shaft of light, the woman he recognized from his vision quest floated downstream, her body appearing lifeless. With the Great Spirit's words echoing in his mind, Black Eagle pulled her to safety and quickly revived the raven-haired beauty. But how could this white woman, this taibo wearing strange clothing, be the answer to his tribe's plight? Speaking the language of the white man, she was supposed to be his enemy. As her soft, young body tempted him from beneath her swimsuit, Black Eagle would soon find himself torn between duty and love, clinging to nothing more than faith. Knowing he could only fight his attraction for so long, he realized it was just a matter of time before one of them became...TIME's CAPTIVE.
