Professor Ruthmore finds a rare map and travels to the land of the giants. After enjoying their hospitality for a time, he returns home, promising never to tell anyone about the giants. But he soon forgets his promise and gives a lecture about his discovery, which sets in motion a chain of events that leads to the destruction of the giants' civilization.
