Los abecedarios
Work detail
What Águeda has in common with street beggars is orphanhood, serving different masters, dishonor and learning many tricks to survive. On her way to maturity from the Galician coast to the center of Madrid, she is guided by different alphabets: the one of words, the one of stories and the one of experience. But, the pursuit of the order brought by letters, hides the clutter of reality and the costumes that disguise it.
