Synopsis: At the end of the second millennium, it had been man’s arrogance that led him to ignore a battle that had been waging for seven centuries. This particular war was not being played out in any earthly arena but in another dimension partway between heaven and earth where seven monks had been selected to be the guardians of language. After the first of their number fell under the influence of evil and heralded the demise of the others, it wasn’t long before only one remained. The threat of the destruction of all communication served a single goal too sinister to contemplate. Yet the only prospect of hope lay with the prophecy foretold by one of the monks.
