CIA operative Steve Decker leaves the spy world because of bureaucratic ineptitude that allows a terrorist attack to occur. Disgusted, he moves to picturesque Santa Fe and for the first time allows himself to think about something other than global intrigue and violence. Indeed, for the first time he commits himself to a relationship.
