A young African-American hitman, who goes by the nickname of Ghost Dog, reveres the Samurai code of ethics and honor. When a Mafia boss's daughter witnesses one of his assassinations, his position is compromised and he is targeted by his own organization. He is then faced with the problem of defending his life while honoring the ancient code of the Samurai.
