Für das Weltkulturerbe Völklinger Hütte hat Ottmar Hörl das Skulpturenprojekt "Second Life" mit 100 Arbeitern konzipiert. Die Figuren sind respektvoll dem Völklinger Hüttenarbeiter mit Helm und Arbeitskleidung nachgebildet. Das Projekt lenkt den Blick auf das universelle Thema der Völklinger Hütte: Arbeit und die arbeitenden Menschen. In dem Skulpturenprojekt von Ottmar Hörl leben die Hüttenarbeiter ein "zweites Leben". Exhibition: Weltkulturerbe Völklinger Hütte, Völklingen/Saarbrücken, Germany (01.05.-31.12.2019).
