"The site of the former "Sternbrauerei" is close to Salzburg's Old Town. The salient feature is the vertical cliff, a relic of the quarry which provided stone for many of the town's baroque façades. 18 well-established architecture offices were invited to explore the potential of the site and to develop a vision for contemporary living in this singular topography.
