Tribute exhibition to the Maples Arce Vermeersch family, who in 1985, 1992 and 2015 made important donations including oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, gouaches, print plaques, prints, photographs and furniture. Includes a careful selection of art works from the private collection of poet, literate and art collector Manuel Maples Arce, (b. Papantla Veracruz 1900-México City 1981), the head and leader of the art movement Estridentista (1921-1927), a group that proposed an aesthetic transformation through the creations of authors, poets and artists: Germán List Arzubide (1898-1998), Salvador Gallardo (1893-1981), Arqueles Vela (1899-1977), Miguel Aguillón Guzmán (1898-1995), Ramón Alva de la Canal (1892-1985), Fermín Revueltas (1901-1935) and Germán Cueto (1893-1975).
