"A Look at Learie Constantine" is a biography of the late Sir Learie Constantine who was one of the West Indies' greatest cricketers and who later went on to become the first coloured person ever to be made a member of the British House of Lords when he was made Baron of Maraval and Nelson. In 1956, Sir Learie entered politics in Trinidad and Tobago when, along with Dr. Eric Williams, he fought and won a seat in the National Parliament and served as a Minister in the first-ever Government following the advent of party politics in Trinidad and Tobago.
