The ladybug lady
Work detail
FLY AWAY HOME Jack Hoffman's attraction to Cassie Culpepper had hit him as hard as the blast of water she'd aimed at him with her garden hose. According to Cassie, he'd been killing her ladybugs with his pesticides. All Jack knew was that his matchmaking mother had done something right by introducing him to this flamboyant woman. At first, Cassie couldn't believe the arrogance of the man, but after she got to know Jack, she found herself spending more and more time with the very person she'd once denounced. Still, their life-styles remained far apart, and it would take all Jack's determination to convince this ladybug lady to fly away home to him every night -- for the rest of their lives.
