Jim Tumlin is concerned about the moral fabric of the New Society on Earth, and decides to do something about it. He chooses to use their time-traveling capabilities to go back and retrieve someone from the past that can teach basic principals of Christianity to people of the 27th century. His efforts are misguided however, and his mission soon falls apart, and his team members find themselves stranded in the Middle East, in the 64 A.D. Their mission changes to one of simply trying to get back home, which leads them through many lands, and countless dangers. --back cover.
