They stole Rush Bonner's horse and left him afoot in mighty wild country. But Bonner was tough: he recovered his mount and left the thieving rider for the coyotes. But it caused him more trouble than he could shake a stick at. First, there was the head wound and the jail cell. Then the escape - with a dead sheriff left in his office, and ten thousand dollars missing. And the posse who hunted him were given orders: 'Take him, dead or alive - preferably dead.'
