Incas en Lima
Work detail
The 2-volume set of the book Incas en Lima comprises 29 works by 31 national and foreign researchers on what was the conquest and administration of Tawantinsuyu in the 11 valleys occupied by the current region of Lima. Likewise, it details how was the impact of this conquest on local societies, what social, religious and economic changes they produced, how ethnicities and societies adapted to them; and how this manifested itself archaeologically in the sites. Therefore, the articles presented here not only cover prospecting in the valleys, investigations of specific sites; but also analysis of materials recovered or associated with the sites, such as ceramics, textiles and metals.
